Totally get that. Sometimes skipping the shortcuts makes you learn the REAL stuff first, you know? It builds up that HANDS on understanding.

You see this pattern with most practical skills. Trying to bypass the basics always creates gaps later on. Mastering the basics simply works better in the long run.
