My neighbor's sprinkler was running during a rainstorm last week

I saw it while walking my dog and just went over and turned it off at the spigot. It felt a little awkward, but wasting that much water is just stupid when we're in a drought. Has anyone else had to do something like this?

Actually, it wasn't a neighbor thing. I saw the trash truck coming and just ran it out myself. Figured it was easier than tracking them down. @skylerg17 I get what you mean about a nudge, but honestly, their can was just sitting there full. Didn't seem like a simple forget. More like they weren't home. Anyway, it's done now.
