Hit my first 100 miles biking instead of driving this month
I started biking to work back in March just to save a little on gas. It's only 4 miles each way so I figured it was nothing special. But I checked my app this morning and I've logged 103 miles for May alone. That blew my mind because I never thought those short trips would add up. Plus I've been skipping the car for errands under 2 miles like grabbing groceries or hitting the library. I honestly feel better and I'm not burning through a tank of gas every two weeks like I used to. Anyone else surprised by how much difference small daily changes make?

Not to rain on your parade but 4 miles each way is still something. I mean that's 40 miles a week just commuting. That is not 'nothing special' in my book. I think you might be underselling yourself a bit. But hey, your mileage may vary.

Call me lazy but 40 miles just sounds like a lot of work to me too.
