My old Hobart finally bit it mid-service last Tuesday

I've had that mixer since I opened my bakery in Portland back in 2008, and the gears just locked up solid while I was creaming butter for a 50-pound batch of cookie dough. Had to borrow my neighbor's KitchenAid to finish the order and I was 2 hours behind schedule. Anyone else dealing with older gear and know a good repair shop for these things?

my buddy's same mixer gave out kneading bagel dough and he found a guy on craigslist who fixed it for seventy bucks.

Wait, seventy bucks?? That's insane, I figured a fix like that would cost way more than a hundred at least.
