Warning: Carpet tile demand is spiking in my region.
Lately, most of my commercial clients ask for modular tiles over wall-to-wall carpet. It's changing how I plan my work. What are you all seeing?

Honestly, is it really that big of a deal? Robin_foster1, you said it messes with your schedule, but can't you just adjust your ordering a bit? It's just a different material. Tbh, trends come and go all the time in this work.

Last month, three of my big office jobs switched to tile requests last minute. It really messes with the schedule and material orders. noah_barnes is right about this being a national thing. Clients say tiles are easier to replace and look more modern. This means I have to keep more tile stock on hand now. It's a big shift that takes time to get used to.
