That Tuesday in Tulsa where everything went wrong
Last week I had a job in Tulsa that should have taken 3 hours but turned into a 10 hour nightmare. The customer wanted a plush carpet in a room with a weird L-shaped closet and the seam placement was a total puzzle. Then my power stretcher slipped on the hardwood transition and I had to redo a whole wall because of a wrinkle. Has anyone else had a simple job turn into a full day disaster like that?

Oh yeah, that 'should have taken 3 hours' line always gets me. I once had a closet that looked like a trapezoid in a bad geometry joke, took me four hours just to figure out where to hide the seams. Then my knee kicker decided to go rogue and left a dent in the baseboard I had to explain to the homeowner. Your power stretcher slipping on the hardwood transition sounds like my Friday last month, had to rip up a whole hallway because a wrinkle appeared out of nowhere 20 minutes after I thought I was done. Take this with a grain of salt, but I swear some jobs are cursed from the start, like the carpet knows you're in a hurry.

Did you try using a heat gun on that stubborn wrinkle? Worked for me last time.
