Question about a carpet job in a house with a pet raccoon

I was stretching in a living room in Tacoma last month when the homeowner's 'pet' raccoon came out and started unrolling my seam tape. I had to gently shoo it away with my knee kicker while the owner laughed and said it was 'helping'. Has anyone else had a wild animal try to join the install?

Ever notice how people treat their pets like tiny, chaotic coworkers now? That raccoon wasn't helping, it was managing you. We've all got a story about a client's "assistant" getting in the way.
