A kid said my carpet looked like a giant puzzle

Was finishing up a living room install when the client's son came in. He said the carpet looked like a giant puzzle, and his smile was worth the extra time I spent on the pattern match.

Had a client pick a geometric print last year, and her daughter immediately called it a floor maze. Making that pattern line up just right was totally worth it for that reaction.

Floor maze is the kind of thing only a kid would come up with, and it's spot on! All that work to line up the prints, and now everyone will be trying not to step on the lines. Guess you installed a puzzle instead of a floor. Hope no one gets lost walking to the kitchen! Seriously though, that reaction makes all the precise cutting totally worth it. Kids see the world in such creative ways.
