Am I the only one who saw a job fair at the Denver Convention Center that felt more like a sales pitch?
Every booth was pushing their 'company culture' hard, but nobody would give a straight answer about starting pay or typical hours. Has anyone else walked away from an event like that feeling like you learned nothing real?

That Denver fair last year was the same for me. Just left feeling like I wasted a whole afternoon.

I mean, the Denver fair last year got me my current gig after talking to three booths. Maybe @matthewp52 just didn't ask the right questions.
