My $40 inflatable pillow was the best gear buy of the year, no question

It completely changed my sleep on a 5-day Boundary Waters trip, no more waking up with a stiff neck. Anyone have a good trick for keeping these things from sliding off a sleeping pad?

Okay but which brand was it? That's the real question because I've bought two of those and the first one was total junk, it deflated halfway through the night. The second one actually held air but it slides around like it's on ice. I ended up sewing some old shirt fabric onto the bottom of my pillowcase to make it a bit grippy, which sort of works. Did yours have any kind of non-slip patch or was it just smooth?

Wait you sewed fabric onto the pillow itself? That's wild dedication. I just shove mine into the hood of my sleeping bag to lock it in place. @the_zara's sliding issue is real though, my old one did that constantly. It's like the pad material is made to repel anything comfortable. The new one I got has these little silicone dots on the bottom and they actually work pretty well. Maybe try sticking some of that grippy shelf liner stuff under it as a cheap fix?

Ever try that rubbery spray for tool handles?
