That stubborn light leak showed me why shop meetings matter
I used to skip daily huddles, seeing them as a waste. Then a Canon AE-1 light leak had me stuck for days. In a meeting, I mentioned it, and the shop lead knew the fix. He said to check the back door seal, which was degraded. Replacing it solved the issue instantly. Now I realize these meetings are crucial for sharing knowledge.

Ever have a problem that just would not go away? My buddy was tearing his hair out over an old film camera that kept jamming until he finally spoke up at their weekly meetup. Another tech had seen it before and showed him the tiny spring he had missed.

Oh man, my friend was stuck for weeks trying to fix a weird noise in his car engine. He checked everything he could think of, spent so much money on parts. He finally mentioned it to his uncle, who just asked if he'd looked at the motor mounts. One was totally cracked, a ten minute fix. He felt so dumb but also so relieved, lol.
