Hot take: Spending $200 on a good crimper was the best decision I made all year
I was using a cheap $25 crimper from the hardware store for like two years and kept getting bad connections on RG6 ends. Finally dropped $200 on a proper Klein crimper and it's night and day difference - clean terminations every time, no more callbacks. But part of me wonders if I just got lucky or if the price tag actually matters that much. Anyone else gone back and forth on cheap vs expensive tools for coax work?

My $30 crimper gave me so many bad connections I wanted to throw it out the window. The Klein stuff just works.

The same pattern shows up everywhere with tools - cheap stuff usually costs you more in time and frustration than just buying the good version right away.
