Unpopular opinion: The antique furniture at the museum in Salem made me rethink joinery.

I saw a 200-year-old chest with dovetails so tight you couldn't slide a piece of paper between them, and it had never been reglued. Makes you question if modern glues make us a bit lazy, doesn't it?

Wait, it had NEVER been reglued? That's actually insane. Modern stuff falls apart if you look at it wrong.

Tell me about it, @jade_grant95. My grandma has a mixing bowl from the 50s that's still perfect. Meanwhile, my new coffee mug handle broke in a week. They just don't make things to last anymore.
