My friend told me my weekly spread looked like a mess
She said the colors were too bright and the boxes were all different sizes, which made it hard to read. I switched to just two pens, a black one and a gray one, and used a ruler for everything. Has anyone else simplified their layout after getting feedback?

Totally get that. My cousin said my old planner gave her a headache. I had washi tape everywhere and five different highlighters. Switched to a single blue pen and a basic grid. The clarity is so much better now. I don't miss the rainbow chaos at all.
