My bujo habit tracker went from blank pages to full color in 3 weeks

I started a new tracker this month for drinking water and it was just sad little empty boxes for the first few days. Then I got a pack of those mildliners at Target for like 6 bucks and suddenly I was filling in every square with different colors. I mean it was almost funny how fast it went from boring to this rainbow mess just because I got new pens. Has anyone else had a tiny tool change completely flip their whole spread game?

Target mildliners are actually a bit different than standard highlighters, they have a brush tip on one end and a fine point on the other so they're more for drawing than filling in big blocks. That pack at Target for six bucks is a solid deal though, I grabbed the same one last month and it turned my whole habit tracker into something I actually wanted to look at every day. It's wild how a new tool can make you want to use something you were already avoiding.

That Target run really does change everything... I grabbed a pack of the pastel mildliners too and suddenly my sleep tracker went from these tiny little checkmarks to these big dreamy color blocks that make me actually want to look at the page. It's funny how something as small as a new pen can turn a chore into something you actually look forward to... like I was just filling in boxes before but now I'm mixing colors to show how much water I drank before noon versus after dinner. It's almost embarrassing how much joy a six dollar purchase brought me honestly.
