I finally stopped putting my daily tasks in my monthly spread
For like 6 months I was cramming every single task into my monthly log and wondering why it looked like a mess. Then I realized the monthly column is really just for appointments and deadlines, not my grocery list or laundry reminders. I started using a simple weekly layout instead and now I can actually find stuff without squinting. Has anyone else been overcomplicating their monthly spreads?

Did you also color code everything by priority and mood like I did? My monthly spread looked like a rainbow exploded on it and I still couldn't tell you what I was actually supposed to do on Tuesday. I switched to a weekly layout too and it feels like cheating after all the effort I wasted.

Nope, my rainbow turned into a mud puddle too.

Used to think color coding was the answer to all my problems. Saw everyone's messy spreads and finally admitted it was just pretty chaos. Weekly layouts stripped everything down and actually made me functional.
