Was dead set against envelope budgeting but my wife insisted we try it

I thought it was some old school nonsense until we missed our rent by $47 last month in Phoenix. Three weeks into using cash envelopes and I already see where our $200 a month was bleeding out on fast food.

Wait, $180 a month? Honestly that's kind of impressive you kept it that low. We were doing like $60 a week easy before I realized I was basically funding someone else's car payment with my burrito cravings. Ngl the envelope system is the only thing that saved me from my own laziness too.
