Serious question, has anyone else tried a meal kit service to save money?
I spent about $65 a week on a meal kit for two people, thinking it would cut down on food waste and takeout. It actually worked for us because we stopped buying random groceries that went bad. We stuck to the plan and saved maybe $40 a week compared to before. Has anyone else found a specific service that worked for their budget?

We tried EveryPlate for a few months. It was around fifty bucks a week for three dinners. The recipes were simple and it did stop us from ordering pizza when we were tired. The savings came from not letting veggies rot in the fridge drawer.

That's the real win, cutting down on waste. We did something similar with a different service for a while. It just made the whole "what's for dinner" stress disappear on busy days.
