My friend tried to budget with a literal piggy bank and it went about as well as you'd think

We were at her place last Tuesday and she proudly showed me this ceramic pig she'd been putting all her 'fun money' into for three months. She said, "I saved over $200!" Then she tried to get the cash out... and the pig wouldn't break. We spent an hour trying to open it with a butter knife and a hammer, and finally had to take it to her dad's garage. Has anyone else had a simple budget idea totally backfire in a funny way?

Remember those old metal cash boxes with the tiny keys? My grandma gave me one. I lost the key in a week. Had to pry it open with a screwdriver and bent the whole lid. The lock never worked again, so I just had a busted box full of change sitting there. Felt like a real genius.
