I found a tracker app that saved me $240 on groceries last month

I started using a simple price tracker for my local Kroger in Austin three weeks ago. It caught a sale on chicken breast that I would have missed otherwise, and I bought a whole month's supply for 40% off. Now I'm checking it before every trip to the store. Has anyone else tried a price comparison tool for their regular shopping?

Yeah @ivan82 brings up a good point - stacking store coupons on top of those sale prices is the real secret, isn't it? I started doing that last month and my total at checkout dropped even more than I expected. That tracker app sounds like it's working out pretty well for you.
