Finally hit my $500 emergency fund goal after a crazy week

This past week was nuts, my shop had three cars with the same weird transmission shudder. I worked a ton of extra hours to figure it out. I put every single overtime dollar straight into my savings account. Seeing that balance hit $502.37 this morning felt SO good. Has anyone else had a tough week that actually helped them reach a money goal?

That "weird transmission shudder" sounds familiar. I once had a car that did that and fixing it wiped out my savings, so building that fund back was a long road.
