Why does nobody talk about how much money you waste by not using your freezer right?
Honestly, I used to think a freezer was just for ice cream and frozen peas. Then last month I saw my neighbor, a retired guy, portion out a huge pot of homemade chili into single servings and freeze them flat in bags. I realized I was throwing away leftovers or letting stuff go bad because I never planned for it. I started doing the same with soups and even cooked rice, and it cut my food waste in half. Has anyone else found a simple freezer trick that saved them a bunch of cash?
