The 4 AM trash-pick run that saved my whole fall

Found a full bag of cross-stitch floss, three hoops, and a pattern book next to a dumpster on Elm Street last Tuesday, all perfectly clean. Cost me zero dollars and Ive stitched three projects already, has anyone else scored craft supplies from curbside or am I the only one weird enough to do this?
