Warning: I thought using a laser level for a simple garden wall was overkill

My buddy kept pushing me to try one on a small job last month, a 20-foot curved wall for a client in Tacoma. I finally borrowed his DeWalt laser level and set it up, thinking it would just save a few minutes. But laying every course with that red line showing exactly where the brick should go? It cut my time in half and the curve came out way smoother than my old string line method. Anyone else have a tool they thought was just a gimmick that turned out to be a game changer?

Ever see a plumber use one of those pipe inspection cameras? My friend swore it was a toy until he found a lost wedding ring in a drain he was clearing. He doesn't laugh at that little screen anymore.

I felt the same about my stud finder until it saved me from hitting a pipe last week.

Ever wonder what other tools we're still sleeping on? Those cameras must save so much time on weird clogs.
