Crossed 15 years living in Bothell and the number hit me harder than I expected.

That's over a decade and a half of watching Main Street change, and honestly, I think we've lost more local character than we've gained with all the new development.

Yeah, I was just reading an article about how the old Bothell Feed Store building might be torn down for more apartments... it really feels like that kind of thing keeps happening. All the old spots with real history are just getting swapped out for the same chain stores and boxy buildings you see everywhere now. Makes the whole place feel less special, you know? Hard to believe it's been that long since it was a different kind of town.
