The Hemingway House in Key West is overrated and I'll die on that hill

I finally visited the Hemingway House last month and honestly, I don't get the hype. The six-toed cats are cool and all, but the tour felt rushed and overpriced at $18 per person. I spent more time waiting in line for the gift shop than actually seeing rooms where he wrote. Has anyone else felt let down by a famous author's house museum?

honestly that cat was probably trying to tell her something about the vibes in the air or the energy of those shoes. maybe it was a spiritual intervention from the feline universe lol
