A kid at the library game night told me my Catan board looked like a real map

I was setting up a game at the local library's monthly event, just placing the hexes randomly like always. This boy, maybe ten years old, stopped and stared at it for a minute. He pointed at a cluster of forest and mountain tiles and said, 'That looks like a real place, like a little country with hills.' I'd never thought of it that way before. Has a small comment from a new player ever changed how you see a game you've played a hundred times?

Yeah kids say stuff like that, makes you see it new.

Totally agree with @elizabetht56. Kids have a way of pointing out the obvious stuff we've all just accepted as normal (and then you feel a little dumb for not seeing it).
