That foggy trail cam pic from 3 weekends ago finally got solved

Went back to my buddy's cabin near Lake Hartwell and stared at this pixelated blob on the SD card for like an hour. Turned out it was a barred owl sitting on a stump, not a coyote like we guessed. The light was just so low that the whole thing turned into gray mush. Anyone else ever spend way too long trying to decode a night shot only for it to be something boring?
