My roommates and I are split on how to tackle new seasons

They always push for live group binges so we can all react together. I think watching alone lets you really get into the story without chat. What's your take on this?

Wait, they want to watch LIVE together? That sounds like a recipe for missing half the show because everyone's talking. You can't get lost in the story when someone is yelling at the screen next to you. Solo viewing is the only way to actually pay attention.

Ugh, I know right? I've tried watching live with groups before. It always turns into a mess with people talking over important parts. If you have to watch together, make a rule to pause for comments or watch it alone first. Otherwise, you miss so much detail. Solo viewing lets you really get into the story. It's the only way to catch everything.
