Question about a stuck seatpost that turned into a whole thing

Had a steel frame with an aluminum post seized solid. Thought it would be an hour job. Tried everything. Ammonia freeze, heat, a homemade slide hammer. Nothing. Ended up building a jig to clamp the post and turn the whole frame. Took three full days. Anyone ever had a seatpost fight back that hard?

Ever try a caustic soda solution? That's what finally broke mine loose after weeks of fighting it. Just had to be super careful with the paint.
