Bent a spoon cold vs heating it first with a torch, and the difference at 30 seconds shocked me
I grabbed two matching spoons from the same dollar store pack and bent one straight out of the drawer, then hit the other with a propane torch for about 30 seconds first. The cold one fought me the whole way and cracked near the bowl, but the heated one folded like taffy with almost no effort at all. Now I can't decide which one counts as a real bend, since the torch feels like cheating but the cold snap is way more satisfying. Where do you all draw the line, is heat fair game or does it have to be bare hands only?
