Had a guy storm out of my chair last week because I asked if he wanted his neck trimmed
He yelled at me saying I was trying to upsell him, and I was just making sure his lineup looked clean before he walked out. Has anyone else had clients get weird about basic questions like that?

Honestly maybe the guy had a point. A lot of barbers use "just the neck" to sneak in an extra charge and it gets old. If he didn't ask for it, why mention it?

Bet I'd have just handed him a mirror and asked him to show me where the imaginary upsell touched him.
