Update: My client in Austin swore his wire transfer would clear in 2 hours
He called me last Tuesday, said he sent $15,000 for a property closing. I told him international wires take 1-3 business days, minimum. He argued, said his bank's app promised 'fast transfer'. Checked our ledger for three days straight, nothing. Had to delay the closing, pay a penalty. Anyone else have clients who don't believe the actual processing times?

My cousin once tried to wire money from a cruise ship, that was a whole mess.

What's the fee for that, your firstborn child? I once tried to check my bank account from a hotel lobby computer and I'm pretty sure I funded someone's vacation.
