Rant: I used to think mobile check deposit was a gimmick, but after my bank branch closed last month, it's my only option.

I get calling it a lifesaver like sandralee did, but I still find it pretty sketchy. You're just taking a picture of your money and hoping the system doesn't mess up. What happens when it glitches and the deposit gets lost? At least with a real person you can get a receipt and know it's done. Doesn't it make you nervous to not have that branch to go fix things?
