The third time this month, my cucumber vines are wrapped up in her soggy bath towels. She calls it multi-purpose gardening, but my poor plants are basically wearing her laundry. At this rate, I'll be picking cherry tomatoes with a faint scent of fabric softener. Maybe I should just gift her a rolling clothesline for her birthday.

Are the vines actually getting hurt or is it just weird to look at. Plants are tougher than we give them credit for. You could just tell her it bothers you instead of buying a gift.
