Totally get what you're saying, and gavinw85 is right, it just happens sometimes. Last week I was so tired I put a tray of cookies straight into a cold oven. Ended up with one giant, weird puddle that hardened into a cookie-sheet. It wasn't patience, it was just a dumb mistake. You ever try to chip cookie off a pan? Worst cleaning job ever.

Heard a podcast once where they said when you're tired, your brain goes on autopilot. It makes you do stuff like leave keys in the freezer or pour orange juice on your cereal. Saw a post online where someone forgot to add flour to their cake mix, ended up with liquid cake. Your cookie sheet disaster reminds me of that. Trying to clean that up must have taken forever. Sometimes all you can do is shake your head and move on.

That "lesson about patience" thing, I see it different. Honestly sometimes you just forget. It happens to everyone.
