Unpopular opinion: I thought chicken diapers were a total joke until my hen got bumblefoot

My vet in Austin said to keep her inside for a week, and that diaper saved my couch from a real mess. Anyone else have a weird chicken product that actually came in clutch?

Actually it's a good idea to keep a chicken with bumblefoot separate from the flock, but inside on a couch isn't ideal. They really need a clean, dry pen with soft bedding to heal properly. The diaper helps with the mess, but the setup matters more for recovery.
