Struggling with a smelly compost bin led me to this easy fix
I was getting really tired of the awful smell from my chicken manure compost pile. It made my whole backyard unpleasant, especially on warm days. I tried turning it more often, but that just seemed to make it worse. Then I read about adding more brown material, like dry leaves or shredded paper. I started mixing in a bunch of fallen leaves every time I added fresh manure. Now, I only turn the pile once every couple of weeks instead of weekly. The smell has gone way down, and it breaks down faster too. This simple change saved me a lot of hassle and made composting much easier.

Nah, @the_riley, people always overreact about this stuff.

Mojave Desert last summer, my buddy's car broke down. A simple flat tire turned into a three-day rescue.
