A tiny gap in the coop wire cost me two hens

I always watched for large openings, but a small tear near the ground did it. A predator got in last night. Seal up any weak spots you find.

How did the predator even find that tiny spot? It's scary how such a small weakness can cause so much trouble. Are you going to reinforce the whole bottom edge now?

My friend's whole garden fence failed after a raccoon found one loose wire, so he reinforced the whole thing.
