Just read that a chickadee can remember thousands of hiding spots for seeds, found it in a library book called 'The Genius of Birds'

Makes you wonder what else we've totally missed about animal minds. We used to think birds were just flying around on autopilot. Now we find out crows use tools and chickadees have better spatial memory than most undergrads during finals week. It's a bit humbling to realize the quiet genius happening right outside the window.
