Moved to filtering by specific portfolio links instead of invites... total game changer when I started asking for actual work samples relevant to my industry instead of just generic "graphic design" proposals. Specifying the exact software too like "must have X years in Figma for web assets" helped a ton. Got way fewer responses but way better matches that way.

Read somewhere that asking for a 30-second Loom video explaining their process weeds out the templated replies.
