Tried that cheap paintless dent repair kit from Amazon on a door ding

The suction cup ripped off after 30 seconds and just left a bigger mess. What do you guys actually use for the small dings that don't justify a full shop visit?

Hot glue sticks work decent but @mason_ward you gotta watch the paint if you pull too hard. A proper PDR rod set is worth the money if you plan on doing this more than once.

Those Amazon kits are basically just a gamble with extra steps. Try a hot glue stick and a cheap slide hammer from Harbor Freight, works way better for the little stuff.
