I finally asked a local which bus goes to the landfill transfer station, and the driver gave me a whole different answer
Last Thursday I stood at the corner of 5th and Main in Boise for 40 minutes waiting on the 16, and the guy running the coffee cart told me it hasn't stopped there since March. He walked me two blocks over to a stop I never knew about and I made it with 6 minutes to spare. How do you all figure out which stops are actually still live when the signs on the pole are wrong?

Honestly the signs are usually fine and the coffee cart guy probably just wanted to feel helpful. Buses change routes all the time and people love to act like they know the inside scoop when they dont. Just check the transit app or call the number on the pole instead of trusting some random dude.
