The way people ask for movie recommendations on here drives me up a wall...

I posted asking for a good horror flick last week and everyone just threw out the same five blockbusters from the last two years. Nobody asked what scared me before or what I hated about certain movies... it's like they just want to name drop what they like. So I ended up watching a 1982 Italian film called 'The House by the Cemetery' based on one guy's deep cut suggestion and it was exactly my vibe. Has anyone else noticed that generic lists don't really help anyone find what they're actually looking for?

Watched that one cold at 2am once, woke up confused and mildly scared of a basement I don't even have. Generic lists are just people listing their own comfort food, not reading your order.
