That tiny hardware store in Eureka had a pegboard system I'd never seen before
Stopped into Eureka Hardware on 5th Street last month while visiting my sister, and they had this wall of little pull-out drawers for screws and bolts instead of the usual bins. Each drawer had a magnetic label holder that could slide out, so you weren't fighting to read tiny print. Has anyone else run into a storage setup like that in a shop? I'm thinking of trying it for my garage workbench.

Tbh that magnetic label thing sounds like a game changer. I've been using a beat up old filing cabinet for my misc hardware and the labels keep falling off every time I sneeze near it. Might have to make a trip up there next time I'm passing through.

Get those labels on there with some double sided tape and they might actually stay put, @nathan851. Sounds like your filing cabinet is just as organized as my junk drawer at this point. Could be worth the trip just to see if they have any other clever storage hacks in stock.
