My uncle once asked a mechanic about a weird engine noise. We got a full history of carburetor design from the 1970s onward. Some people just have that one topic they can talk about forever.

My dad's barber is like that with the history of hair gel. You ask for a trim and get a lecture on pomade trends since the Korean War. It's like they're waiting for someone to ask.
