A homeowner in Tacoma told me my climbing rope looked like a 'sad spaghetti noodle' and I switched to a high-vis yellow one the next day, which has you ever gotten weirdly specific feedback that actually helped?
He said it was hard to see against the bark and made him nervous, so now I always use a bright color for client-facing climbs, and honestly, it does make communication with the ground crew way easier.

That's some oddly useful feedback from a guy who clearly spends too much time looking at pasta. Makes total sense though, a bright rope is just safer for everyone involved. Good call on taking the weird advice.

Funny how a random comment can make you realize the obvious safety stuff you've been overlooking.
