Dropped $200 on a fancy multimeter and now I wish I had just stuck with my old one

I picked up a Fluke 87V last month after my old Klein finally gave up the ghost, thinking the extra features would help me diagnose compressors faster. The thing is way too sensitive for what I do, picks up every little ghost voltage and makes me chase problems that aren't there. Has anyone else regretted upgrading their meter for residential work, or am I just not using it right?

Ditched mine for a cheapo after realizing I was spending more time filtering out meter noise than actually fixing stuff. New tech ain't always better when it screams at you about problems that don't exist.

Bought a fancy scope once that could detect voltage through concrete walls. Made me think every outlet in my house was about to explode. Swapped back to my ten dollar meter real quick.
