Hit 100 pounds of compost from my 2x2 foot balcony bin
I started last March with one of those cheap plastic tumblers that barely fit through my sliding door, and this morning I finally emptied it for the season. The whole effort came out to 103 pounds of finished compost, which seems impossible for a tiny balcony in Chicago. I layered in shredded newspaper and dry leaves from the park down the block, and that made a huge difference for smell and speed. Has anyone else tracked their total output from a small setup, or am I just overly obsessed with my numbers?

Love seeing that someone else tracks this stuff, I thought I was the only weirdo with a spreadsheet for my worm bin. Mine is just a plastic tote in the closet, not even a real tumbler, and I pulled 87 pounds out over the winter. The browns to greens ratio made all the difference for me too, once I stopped being lazy about shredding the cardboard everything got way faster. Numbers are the fun part, it's like free dirt math.
