An old-school forum regular told me my episode reviews were too long and nobody reads past the first paragraph anymore
I cut my Wordpress posts down from 2000 words to exactly 500 after that, and now I actually get comments from people who finished reading.

Huh, interesting take. But isn't the real trick making every single paragraph worth reading instead of just cutting them short?

Read somewhere that Hemingway used to write his endings first just to make sure every paragraph had a point. Seems like if you know where you're going, it's easier to make each part count without dragging.
